About me
Nicola Haworth BA (Hons) Reg MRCSLT, HCPC, ASLTIP Independent paediatric speech and language therapistI studied at the university of Reading and received a degree in linguistics and language pathology and licence to practice speech and language therapy in 2001.
Since then I've worked in various settings on NHS trusts in the north west including community clinics, mainstream schools and nurseries, special schools and nurseries and peoples homes. I've worked with children on an individual basis, in groups and worked through others to deliver speech and language therapy programmes. Now based near Warrington my practice covers the Warrington and North Cheshire area.
My aim is to deliver high quality assessment and therapy tailored to your child's needs to help them develop their communication skills. Being a parent myself means I understand the importance of making sessions fun and advice practical.
I am a registered member of the Health Professions Council (HCPC), the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT), which is the professional body for Speech and Language Therapists in the UK, and the Association of Speech and Language Therapist in Independent Practice (ASLTIP).
